5.0 star star star star starAs noted above, Katherine immediately made me feel comfortable talking about what are otherwise sensitive subjects. She was clear in terms of what the therapy will entail and what I can expect out of it. At no point did I feel awkward or uncomfortable, which is something given this type of therapy.

5.0 star star star star starKatherine Ireland has been amazing to work with. I feel that she genuinely cares about not just my pelvic health but my overall well-being. She has offered me so many ideas on how to take care of my pelvic health, and her physical trigger point release techniques are extremely helpful! My pelvic area feels amazing after my last visit - she took what I thought was itchiness or burning and just gently held on that spot and the discomfort went away! I was blown away by how much better my pelvic floor feels after that appointment. It didn’t feel terrible before, but it just feels so relaxed now! My hips low back and hip flexors feel like there is more space and I can breathe better. Truly amazing what she can do!

5.0 star star star star starVery respectful, caring, helpful, friendly, and professional, makes sure that I am Ok with what she is doing, lets me know what she is going to do, and before she does it makes sure that I am Ok with everything, she explains everything to me, I just love the way she is and works.

5.0 star star star star starShe is so nice and caring and competent. It's a very specific kind of therapy and she's been extremely helpful. So glad she was the therapist that was available for me and works with my schedule. Very easy to talk to.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
