5.0 star star star star starOpportunity given for questions and they were answered in a thoughtful way. Never felt rushed or at the bottom of one's list. Thoroughly explained what was found during surgery and what was done. Also gave the next steps in recovery. A friendly, gentleman that made one feel confident.

5.0 star star star star starErik Rodriguez is fabulous. He cares about his patience and listens to what they have to say. He includes them in their care plan, and make sure they understand not only their current situation but if an injury could crop up again later. So, there are no surprises with him, which I think is the sign of an excellent care provider. I would highly recommend Erik to anybody.

5.0 star star star star starI didn’t really choose him. He was assigned to me after surgery. So I don’t know exactly that I am recommending him, but he was excellent. He answered all my questions. He knew what my questions were going to be before I asked them, and he inspired confidence.

5.0 star star star star starErik is a consummate professional who listens carefully to my concerns, addresses various reasons for the problems and explains the most logical reason for my issues. He looks me straight in the eye as we converse and includes me in decision making! I highly recommend him.

5.0 star star star star starHe is a great listener and has a great personality! I felt so comfortable explaining my expected ‘pain concerns.’ He was excited for the range my arm showed! We then discussed getting other shoulder done and he pulled up the x-ray and showed us the ‘bone on bone.’ He suggested we make an appt. as soon as possible to see Dr. [ ]. We are aiming for Christmas break. I felt so good leaving, now that we may go sooner rather than later.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
