5.0 star star star star starI trust the doctor's recommendations, he was extremely knowledgeable and also had a great bedside manner. He is very easy to talk to and gave me treatment options. The care I received from this doctor was night and day compared to the previous provider I saw for this issue. The doctor out of Rush Hospital made me feel hopeless, Dr. Ostergaard gave me hope!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ostergaard was both pleasant and professional. He also noticed something on my X-ray that suggested I had a small fracture on my thumb In retrospect that fits in with what I experienced, and a past pattern of a shoulder and rib injury (I have osteoporosis)

5.0 star star star star starDr Ostergaard was very knowledgeable and confident in his field with an amazing bedside manner. He explained the mechanism of my injury and his plan of management at a level that I would understand. I left my visit knowing I had come to right place for care and that I was seeing a doctor who was efficient in his field.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
