5.0 star star star star starMs. Raetz makes me feel at ease immediately, and then takes time to address any questions or concerns I might have. The information she shares is presented clearly and thoroughly. I am much less stressed because of her positive approach and calm manner.

5.0 star star star star starPatricia deals with people facing serious health challenges day in and day out, and I can't imagine the toll that takes on her personally. While my case has been stable since diagnosis and is not thought to be life threatening, nor does it present any immediate threat to quality of life, it is still very concerning and Patricia has consistently maintained a calm, reassuring presence while discussing my prognosis and test results. She does that while still maintaining a very human and personable connection that helps retain a sense of normalcy.

5.0 star star star star starPatricia A. Raetz, APRN, CNS is thorough, kind and compassionate in the care she provides. Her expertise and knowledge was evident as she answered my many questions and put me at ease. However, it is her humanity and kindness that remain immeasurable as I continue to navigate one of the most unexpected, stressful, scary situations of my life; Patricia is a true asset to the Northwestern Medicine organization.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
