5.0 star star star star starI have had Dr. Rosenthal for two years as my doctor. He uses his knowledge and expertise to diagnose my symptoms and offer a plan of treatment. He has me on [medication], to make sure I don't get blood clots, which may fend off a stroke. Dr. Rosenthal spends enough time with me, asking me things about my symptoms ( my behaviors around food and exercise) so that I'm proactive in fending off a heart attack. He listens to me talk when I've had an Afib incident since the last time I saw him. I just saw the doctor for my appointment and I feel secure knowing I'm going to see him in a year. The continuity of my appointments is reassuring.

It would be impossible to recommend him more highly.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
