5.0 star star star star starDr. Shah is the best doctor anyone in my family has seen in YEARS! He carefully diagnosed the leg infection, explained possible causes and remedies in an easy to understand way. He took time to explain next steps and additional areas of concern he noticed in relation to the legs and feet. He has an amazing bedside manner and "won" over my 87 years old, hard of hearing, in pain Mother. His professionalism coupled with his empathetic way showed how much he valued her as a patient. I highly recommend him!

He is knowledgeable, professional, informative, concerned, friendly, reassuring and puts the patient at ease by carefully discussing the several options, timing and possible results. He was very respectful and his concern of my well-being was greatly appreciated. I am just very glad he was the surgeon that was able to take care of me. Especially for being on call on Christmas weekend.

5.0 star star star star starHe was very knowledgeable and friendly. Once we figured out that my hip wasn't the issue, he recommended another doctor who could help, put it in my chart and then NM scheduled the appointment for me.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
