5.0 star star star star starShe is the role model for what every internal medicine should be! Very current on medical knowledge, thorough, responds quickly in mychart, patient, and compassionate. She has found a swollen lymph node and sent me for ultrasound and biopsy. Caught the cancer! Then found basal cell cancer on my face. Checks all lab work discusses, explains, and offers suggestions and options.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Uchida is wonderful, attuned, and spends a lot of time making sure you feel heard and cared for. She is often late for her appointments as a result, but I accept this as part of getting really good care.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Uchida was amazing. I have never not felt rushed in an annual exam, and this was the first time I felt that a physician wasn't trying to get me out of the door as soon as possible. She was very thorough and her med students were great, too.

5.0 star star star star starI’ve worked with Dr. Uchida for a number of years, back when she was a resident working out of one of the Stroger Hospital clinics on the west side. She has a tremendous bedside manner, is very intelligent, and never makes you feel like your questions are unimportant. I sometimes get depressed about my medical problems. I when I began making efforts to improve my health in March 2020, Dr. Uchida was very supportive and positive about every small gain I made. At the end of the first 6 months, I lost a lot of weight and improved my metabolic numbers. Dr. Uchida continued to encourage me on my path. She is the best doctor I have ever worked with.

5.0 star star star star starShe is a very smart, informed, empathetic doctor. Treats me as a person. Called me to explain why I needed another mammogram and explained why. She didn’t want me to panic. When my mom was in the hospital, she would visit and hold her hand. Can’t say enough good things about her. So grateful she is my doctor.
