5.0 star star star star starDr. Klem did a fabulous job with my care. I had a serious emergency situation and he did a thorough evaluation of the matter prior to surgery and also did a great job of communicating to me what the surgery plan was. My outcome has been really great. I appreciate his experience as a surgeon and his ability to communicate to his patients. Terrific Doc.

5.0 star star star star starDr Klem is simply the best surgeon a patient in need could ask for. I have complete confidence in his ability to give the best outcome. He is direct in the kindest way. Thoroughly answers questions and provides explanations that are easy to understand. His bedside manner is exceptional. Listens well and never seems rushed with the time he spends. I feel so blessed to have such an experienced surgeon provide outstanding individual care. A million thanks Dr Klem!

5.0 star star star star starI really liked Dr. Klem and had complete confidence in his professional expertise. As a patient, I appreciated his friendly, reassuring demeanor, approachability, and ability to explain things about my condition and surgery in terms I could easily understand. External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
