5.0 star star star star starDr. Bernardi is exceptionally kind, thorough, and patient. She made me feel valued as a patient and was intentional about being thoughtful in her language, especially around loss. Dr. Bernardi explained everything without making me feel dumb and encouraged questions. She is exactly the kind of Dr. anyone would hope for when experiencing chronic loss and about to embark on an overwhelming fertility journey. I am grateful to be in her care.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Bernardi was so welcoming and knowledgeable at our first appointment. She answered all my questions and was very great to talk with. A relief to finally find an IVF doctor I can feel safe and comfortable with.

5.0 star star star star starAlso after telling my history at a previous clinic, the Dr. jumped straight to IVF with no explanation as to why that was her decision. Dr. Bernardi went over ALL our options she made me feel like IVF wasn't my only options, she went over in great detail ALL the options and went over all the pros and cons of each. We still finally settled on IVF anyways but it was nice to hear all our other options. She was very thorough, and explains everything so well, and makes sure you have a good understanding of what is happening.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Bernardi is very, very good at her job. She makes you feel like you are the only patient she has - she remembers details and history, and has a very human approach overall. She starts each session asking "How are you". We never feel rushed and are able to ask every question. She is incredibly knowledgable about this field, and has a special way of explaining things so they are understandable while also providing the medical terms and data. I am so lucky to be working with Dr. Bernardi!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
