5.0 star star star star starDr. Janetos has good bedside manner, very thorough in his exams and explains medical terms so I can understand. He's also very empathetic, I came to him with a very bad eye infection and him and his team calmed me down and helped me understand my diagnosis. (I had some anxiety...). Moral to my story....I love Dr. Janetos!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Janetos never makes me feel like I am being hurried along. He explains things to me in detail so I can know what to expect next. He uses his time wisely and allows the other doctors to work with me so we can discuss what was found at the end of my session. I trust him with my vision.

5.0 star star star star starOpthamalogy tends to run late with appts but someone comes to apologize. They give reason why and provides updates. You are not rushed once doctor sees you and time is there for questions about care.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Janetos explained everything I needed to know before the surgery as well as informing me of the possible problems that could arise. He did a wonderful job of improving the sight in my right eye and I look forward to having the same surgery on my left eye.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
