5.0 star star star star starIn addition to the above he looks me in the eye when he speaks to me. He may be busy and is time conscientious but I don’t feel rushed. I feel heard and that my health concerns matter. Now in this modern day where there is so much conversation centered around diversity and inclusion, Dr. Woodard & his team receives 5 stars! My obvious ethnic differences did not negatively or positively impact my care. This is how it should be, I was and am being treated like a “patient†with a concern and that’s the best inclusion outcome that one could ask for.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Woodard is outstanding. I feel blessed to have him as my doctor. His personality sets you at ease, he is definitely a professional. In addition he makes sure that you understand everything he will be taking care of for me, his patient.

5.0 star star star star starDr Woodard is first a professional, but is gifted with a personality that sets you at ease, is patient, thorough, and explains everything so you know what to expect. I am so fortunate that he shared some test results my other Dr had not. Thank you.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Woodard exudes confidence in what he does which alleviated much of my fear of the procedure. He listened to my concerns & addressed them. I was very much more at ease after my appointment with him as was my husband.

4.0 star star star star star_borderSame as above. Things I liked: he seemed to have looked at my history; knew pcp's name even though he is outside NW; understanding the hiatal hernia was my primary reason for being there (not dismissive); not in a rush; thorough explanations.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
