5.0 star star star star starDr. Esch is thorough in her health assessments, and can be fun at the same time. I tend to kid around, and she makes me comfortable by joking with me. She is serious when necessary, however, when the situation deems a serious tone.

5.0 star star star star starDr Esch is a great listener & always explains what she’s thinking, then asks what I think of her healthcare plan. She’s thorough and thoughtful. She’s very easy to converse with and always upbeat and friendly.

5.0 star star star star starShe is off the charts excellent!! She listens and is knowledgeable and responsive to patient concerns. She is thorough in her examinations and evaluation, but she will not recommend tests that she does not consider to be necessary or pertinent to the issue. She is a wonderful balance of being upbeat and easy to talk to, and being knowledgeable and compassionate. I’m so glad my husband and I have her for our primary doctor.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Esch is a phenomenal doctor. She takes the time to listen. She has an excellent sense of humor and is sympathetic, not in a fake doctor way, more like she genuinely cares way. As a general rule I am not very fond of doctors, don’t trust them. Dr. Esch has never given me any reason to not trust her.

5.0 star star star star starPlease see above notes. Dr Esch is clear, consistent, kind & highly-skilled. She is on-par with the best drs & teams my husband routinely sees at [ ] Clinic. No exaggeration). My 2 RN friends hold her in high regard, also.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Esch is truly the only doctor I have ever liked in my life. I appreciate the time she takes with me. She is very easy to talk to. She listens to what I have to say, she doesn't "tune me out". All in all, I'm very happy with the way she takes care of my health and looks out for my wellbeing. Dr. Esch is what I call "a very nice lady". Sounds old fashioned, but oh well.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
