Dr. Witkowski is kind, thoughtful, thorough and truly makes an effort to connect with her patients. Rather than talking above, around, or through her patients with disabilities or difficulty communicating, she speaks directly to us and cares very much about connecting to care that’s a good fit for me.

Dr. Julie Witkowski is an exceptionally talented doctor. She combines knowledge and keen observation with a deep encompassing compassion that supports her patients in a way that is extremely rare. She works to bring all aspects of her patient's health team together and bridges the gaps that are often overlooked in care and treatment. We could not imagine a having a better Doctor.

Dr Witkowski AND Dr [ ] have been extremely helpful and advocates for my father's care. They both went above and beyond to make sure he was properly diagnosed and have given us immense time and attention. They have been us with at each step along the way, and we could not be more grateful for how they have shown and continue to show their care by relating personally and professionally. We feel seen, heard, and cared. It is clear they work closely together for the best care for their patients.

External Professional Relationships

Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
