5.0 star star star star starDr.Mugisha does his profession a great honor. He is intelligent, making him extremely knowledgeable about many things regarding cardiac issues. His doctor patient manner is some of the best I have ever experienced. It was a pleasure to talk with him and to discuss my health and care plan with him. Northwestern medicine has a great asset in Dr. Mugisha.

5.0 star star star star starFirst because he is a very good knowledgeable cardiologist second he is so patient. Last he is so nice and smiles quite a bit. Went off test results and answered all our questions. Only second time seeing him so we had a lot of questions.

5.0 star star star star starDr Mugisha was phenomenal. He listened attentively, asked plenty of probing questions, and provided counsel and anecdotes to help me understand my situation. His outline of next steps gave me comfort that I was in good hands. Very grateful for this experience.

5.0 star star star star starDr Mugisha took the time to address concerns I had. Most important he was very knowledgeable when it came to my other medical issues not related to cardiology. Most doctors don’t know my conditions or understand what they are. Dr Mugisha knew exactly what my conditions were and if they would affect my heart or not. This was very important to me considering a lot of doctors I’ve visited through the years don’t know or don’t understand my conditions.

5.0 star star star star starDr M did not rush me but listened to me. He very clearly explained things and also answered all my questions. I learned something very important about my condition. I would recommend him as an MD. We immediately made an appointment for my husband to see Dr Mugisha because he also needed to see a cardiologist.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
