5.0 star star star star starLike I stated above because she listens. She listens to all my concerns and pays attention to what I’m saying unlike the doctors I have had in the past. She took my concerns seriously, and attended to every single one of them. She actually cares and has an excellent bedside manner. I am so blessed that I found her. She is an excellent doctor from what I have seen so far I have been looking for a good primary care doctor for years, and I am beyond happy that I found her! She is very professional, and every aspect and everything that I was looking for in a doctor for primary care. She is highly recommended in my opinion.

5.0 star star star star starShe was wonderful. I explained I just wanted to make sure I didn’t have strep throat because we are having a couple of large family gatherings and I didn’t want to spread strep throat around. She was very understanding and said it was no problem and it was good that I wanted to make sure it was healthy before I met all these people.

5.0 star star star star starI like a woman doctor because they can relate first hand to issues women experience. Dr. Patel is personable and makes you feel comfortable. You can ask questions and address concerns and she takes time with you.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
