5.0 star star star star starDr. Malina was professional, yet personable with a calming demeanor. He listened carefully to my daughter’s responses & allowed me to make comments & clarifications. He asked sensitive questions without being judgmental. Dr. Malina came out to the waiting room to greet us & bring us back to his office as opposed to having someone from his team bring us back. Teleconference to go over the test results in 15 days was scheduled immediately after appointment. 📆

5.0 star star star star starDr. Malina was terrific! He was kind, compassionate and clear with his explanation about today’s testing. He partnered with me in addressing my concerns. I am hopeful for our second meeting to review the assessment and discuss ways to maximize my cognitive functioning. I also welcomed the dose of humor he added to our session.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
