5.0 star star star star starDr. Chan is the reason why I came to Northwestern Sleep and Pulmonary. I very much appreciate the collegiality in her manner. I feel that we're a care team instead of "I am the doctor, and you are the patient" The Herr Doktor mindset has never worked well with me.

5.0 star star star star starI was seen on time by a new doctor who was familiar with my transferred records from my former sleep doctor from my previous state of residence. She suggested several helpful things about my CPAP machine that I had not been doing. The office visit concluded efficiently and quickly, but did not seem rushed. Good experience!

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderKnowledge base is obviously exceptional, communication and follow through feels impersonal. Almost robotic. *Note: I recognize that this could be related to patient/work load. I'm confident in ability but it felt like a conversation Sgt Joe Friday ... "The facts, just the facts".

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
