Kathleen is an amazing lady. She was so kind and helpful. She took the time to explain my mother's sugar readings and how long and fast acting insulin works. went for one reason, to get my license paper work filed out and was told straight up no by someone who has never seen me and didnâ€™t even ask my actual doctor if that was what he wanted just decided after a 30 min conversation and not even talking to my doctor that she can just take away a right that i need for getting to work getting my insulin from the pharmacy and that iâ€™m not a â€œgood enoughâ€ diabetic to have a basic human right of driving my car maybe talk to my doctor thatâ€™s know me for years. she also tried to dive me ANOTHER device after i clearly stated i just want the pump and transmitter i have to work and i donâ€™t wasnâ€™t another device stuck on me or another needle inside of me she told me for straight up 10 min ab about this new glucometer update and me thinking that she was talking about an actual glucometer and not the freestyle thing which is so stupid because why would i wear that if i have the CGM that could hook up to my pump like just help me fix that so i donâ€™t have to wear another needle in my arm i just think itâ€™s frustrating and just plain annoying that someone who doesnâ€™t know anything about my history and didnâ€™t even know i switched pumps a year ago can just say oh no that thing that you so desperately need from us so you can function like a normal human again weâ€™re gonna hold that over you until you do exactly as we say because we control your life now and want to know about everything you eat every time you eat and everything you do even though she doesnâ€™t even know me at all
