5.0 star star star star starThere are not adequate words to express how amazing Dr Sterba is. He treated me for knee pain with injections until I could be cleared from cancer surgery to have a total knee replacement. The surgery went very well and I had been educated exactly what to expect. Dr Sterba has perfected his technique which gave me an outstanding chance for recovery. While I had a good deal of pain ahead of surgery, under Dr Sterba's care I am 7 weeks post op and I am completely pain free. Dr Sterba is a magician!

5.0 star star star star starDoctor Sterba along with his staff of medical specialists in my opinion are above beyond in the care administered to me. I am blessed to have him as my orthopedic doctor and NorthWestern medicine is equally fortunate to have him on your medical staff.

5.0 star star star star starDr Sterba is an outstanding surgeon and while it’s to soon to really tell the final outcome of my knee replacement I’m confident he and his team were my best choice. I’ve heard nothing but good things about him and only can confirm that.

5.0 star star star star starI would highly recommend Dr. Sterba. In addition to being an excellent surgeon he is a true gentleman,. He is kind and shows a genuine interest in your well being and spends as much time as necessary to answer all your questions and address any concerns you may have. I give him the highest rating possible.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Sterba and the team did a great job all around. The before and after difference in my hip is amazing. All of the pain that used to be in my hip is gone. The recovery is going great. I'm two months out now and can already do 10 miles on a stationary bike. I rarely even think about the fact that I just had a hip replacement.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
