5.0 star star star star starDr. V is always pleasant and very attentive during your time with her. She listens and asks follow up questions about your issue or concern. I like her approach to my treatment plan. She suggests options but isn’t pushy and allows the patient to make the most appropriate choice for treatment. Dr. V will give her opinion though, if she feels a better choice could be made.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Verges is my longtime rheumatologist. I regard Dr. Verges as not only my doctor, but my partner in dealing with my rheumatological conditions. I feel comfortable asking questions of Dr. Verges, which is important to me, and she patiently helps me understand the answers. I have a great deal of confidence in Dr. Verges, as she is knowledgeable, kind, caring, and responsive no matter how I occasionally reach out to her. I feel extremely fortunate to have Dr. Verges as my trusted physician.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
