5.0 star star star star starDr Ward took the time to thoroughly explain my condition and options for treatment. He answered all my questions and I did not feel rushed at all. He has a very calming, serene manner. I feel confident in any care I choose to receive from him. Thank you Dr Ward.

5.0 star star star star starHe does a great job of explaining his approach and thought process with me regarding my treatment. While I slightly disagreed with his plan I understand he is operating on limited information without my full pain management history. I trust his judgment and I'm not questioning it at all. Due to the opioid epidemic, the sincerity of requests for pain medication can be questioned so I understand that as well and it might be presumptuous of me to question his concerns here (grain of salt gooo). He trusted that I know a certain medication works to be taken as necessary for pain and he prescribed a lesser but adequate amount to meet my needs. I explained it allows me to function on days where the pain is too much. Bottom line, he listens, he's kind, he informs well and operates very professionally- so yes, 10/10 I would recommend anyone that asks me to go see Dr. Ward.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
