5.0 star star star star starI hear many people say they don’t get the best care with their own healthcare professionals and I smile and tell them to try Northwestern. I review with them how extremely satisfied I am with my team of professionals. Michelle Hawksworth collaborates with the key professionals to support my needs. As a senior citizen I have experienced a lot and I feel confident that my team in this case Michelle treats me like she would her own family member. She uses the patient portal to communicate when necessary and researches for next steps.

5.0 star star star star starMichelle Hawksworth continues to be very involved with the continued top quality care I am receiving. She asks questions of me that give her the answers she needs to make decisions or suggestions that benefit me in my long term care.

5.0 star star star star star[date], was the first time I spoke with her on a telemedical call, she made changes to my current medication regimen. She asked me to follow up with her in a couple of weeks to see if there were any significant changes to my ongoing heart conditions and some symptoms I am having, I am paying close attention to the new medication changes to determine if her medicine recommendations have improved my symptoms. She was very professional over the phone and did return my call the next day regarding a MyChart communication issue.

5.0 star star star star starSmart. Kind. Listened. Admitted she didn’t know what to do (bc new disease) and this is refreshing after three years of healthcare workers since long covid infection who gaslight light and deny any care. She’s great. Give promotion and pay raise

5.0 star star star star starMichelle listens, is easy to talk to, caring and on top of the situation. She walks in having reviewed my history, so you feel like she knows who you are and either has or gets us the answers to our questions, as well as, picking up on other possible concerns during our conversation and gives us ideas to work on to improve overall health.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
