Overview
Epispadias
Epispadias is a term used to describe a condition in which the urethral opening is in an abnormal location. In males, the opening is usually on the top side of the penis instead of the tip.
Management of epispadias requires long-term, urologic care from childhood into adulthood.
The Northwestern Medicine Congenital Urology Program provides comprehensive and continuous care for all congenital conditions of the genitourinary system, including epispadias.
