Deviated septum repair (septoplasty) is a surgical procedure to repair a blockage in the nose caused by crooked cartilage separating the two nostrils.

Working through the nostrils, the surgeon may trim, reshape or remove the deviated cartilage and bone to allow easier breathing through both nostrils.
