What is Controlled Ovarian Hyperstimulation?
Controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) therapy is generally for couples who have unexplained infertility, have mild male factor infertility or have failed less aggressive treatment strategies.
Women can receive medication to enable them to release several eggs at the time of ovulation. Increasing the number of eggs released may increase the probability of conception.
COH is often coupled with intrauterine insemination (IUI).
