Pulse Oximetry
Pulse oximetry measures the amount of oxygen in your blood using a sensor that’s clipped onto your finger or earlobe. The sensor uses light waves to measure the oxygen level, often in a matter of seconds.
Pulse oximetry may be used alone or as part of a full pulmonary function test (PFT).
