Acetabular Dysplasia

Acetabular dysplasia is a condition in which the hip sockets become shallow. Because there is less cartilage to handle the weightbearing load, there is more stress on the cartilage and labrum. This condition frequently leads to hip pain related to the development of hip labral tears and early cartilage degeneration.
