Symptoms of rhinitis may vary greatly depending on environmental and other factors, such as allergens in the air, temperature, air quality and even diet.

Symptoms may include:

• Sinusitis (inflammation of the sinus lining)
• Stuffy nose
• Runny nose (with clear drainage)
• Sneezing
• Post-nasal drip, causing sore throat and throat clearing
• Mouth breathing
• Sinus headache
• Nosebleeds
• Snoring
• Fatigue
• Itchy eyes, nose, throat and ears (with allergic rhinitis)
• Dark circles or creases under the eyes
• Loss of the sense of smell
