Symptoms of Vulvar Cancer
In its early stages, vulvar cancer may not cause any signs or symptoms. As the disease progresses, you may notice symptoms, including:
- Persistent itching
- Vaginal bleeding after intercourse
- Any vaginal bleeding after menopause
- Burning sensation
- Pelvic pain
- Vaginal discharge
- Painful urination
- Changes in skin color or thickness
- One or more wart-like lumps or open sores
These symptoms may be caused by vulvar cancer or another health problem. If you are concerned about any of these issues, talk with your physician. As vulvar cancer may not cause early symptoms, talk with your physician about having routine pelvic exams.
