Cancer care centers

Battling cancer is a multistep journey that may require many visits. During treatment, you need to devote your energy to getting healthy, not getting to the next appointment. That’s why treatment and support services at Northwestern Medicine are conveniently located throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, so you can get quick access to all the expertise and support you need, close to home.

Some of these treatments are provided in the Pediatric Infusion Center, a specially designed treatment area for patients needing these services. Located within the Pediatric Outpatient Center of Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital, the Infusion Center is staffed by Lurie Children’s* pediatric specialists, oncology certified nurses and child life specialists. Children can choose a quiet, private environment or participate in crafts and games, where they can interact with other patients while getting therapy.
