Acetabular Dysplasia Symptoms

People with acetabular dysplasia may report:

  • Pain in the front of the hip or groin during sports, prolonged sitting or any activity that requires deep flexion or rotation of the hip
  • A painful popping or clicking in the front of the hip
  • Pain radiating around the hip, which clinicians call a “c-sign” because patients frequently position their fingers as a “C” in order to describe the location of pain
