5.0 star star star star starDr. Liu made me feel comfortable. He made sure I understood everything. He was friendly and personable. Most doctors seem to rush through things. But Dr. Liu did not. He wanted to make sure I was making informed decisions. We both agreed on my course of treatment. And I left feeling positive and hopeful. I'll say nobody wants to have to see an infectious disease doctor. It is a nerve wracking thing. But I couldn't have been happier with Dr. Liu's care.

5.0 star star star star starDr Liu is very personable and welcoming and as I wrote previously: … has deep knowledge, but presents it simply and practically, even when it’s an unknown affliction behaving as an infection!!!

5.0 star star star star starExplained things in a very detailed and non complex manner. Took so much extra time to get all my questions answered. And, squeezed me into an appointment due to urgency. Couldn’t recommend more!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
