5.0 star star star star starI have communicated positively to at least 6 or 7 of fellow Wyndemere Residents who are considering joining his Practice. Dr. Ambler takes time to talk about what I need and use the services of therapy’ people who will be assigned to help me. He has personal experience using them.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ambler has been my trusted and professional primary care physician for many years! In my opinion, he sets the standard for what all family medicine doctors should be like. He listens well, asks good questions, and is caring, wise and informed in sharing his medical knowledge and recommendations.

5.0 star star star star starI have been very fortunate that Dr. Ambler has been my primary care physician for many years. He has always been very caring and has provided outstanding care in all aspects of my medical care (e.g., from yearly physicals to severe allergic reactions and a serious infection from a cat bite). He always takes time to answer my questions and to discuss options (when they are needed). Janet, the nurse that has worked with Dr. Ambler for years, has also been very caring helpful. The front-office staff always greets me with a nice ``Hello'' and have offered a friendly welcome when I keep my appointments.

5.0 star star star star starHe has been my primary doctor since September 2007, and has set the bar high for this relationship—with his friendly, courteous, respectful manner. He listens carefully to concerns, gives sufficient time for questions, and recommends solutions.

5.0 star star star star starAppointment was on time. Nurse Janet is absolutely wonderful, upbeat and fun, and is an excellent member of doctor's team. Dr Ambler is just great too. He truly cares about his patients. He may not agree with some of the medical decisions I make but only points out the pros and cons for me to consider. He never pressures me to do things I don't want to. Northwestern couldn't have better people representing them. I love them both!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
